Ingredients (serves 4)

50g Short Grain Rice

500ml Semi Skimmed Milk

18g Granulated Sugar

1 x 410g Tinned Pears in Juice

Method

1. Place all ingredients into a pan (except the pears) and bring to the boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 45 minutes until creamy.

3. Serve with pears.

  • Suitable accompaniments may include low fat custard or yoghurt
